London Police arrest Manchester woman for possession of meth

LONDON KY—On Sunday, March 26th London Police responded to a suspicious female complaint at 8:30 p.m. at K&K Storage on Tobacco road that led to an arrest.

Ofc. Greg Turner, Ofc. WagersJeremy Shell, and Sgt. Richie Reynolds responded to the call and were notified that the female was attempting to open the storage facility’s gate, got inside, and was talking to herself in a strange manner. When officers spoke with the female, identified as Jessielene Wagers, 42, of Manchester, she reportedly was acting hyper and her eyes were constricted.

When asked if she had taken any drugs, Wagers became nervous. She then refused to give consent to officers to search her vehicle. Ofc. Turner’s K-9 Tyson walked around the exterior of the vehicle and alerted to the driver’s side door to the odor of narcotics. Ofc. Turner and Ofc. Shell searched Wagers’ vehicle and located a small baggie containing methamphetamine residue under the driver’s seat. Also located was a large envelope containing papers and pantyhose in the passenger’s seat. Four needles were discovered within the pantyhose.

Wagers was arrested and charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance of the first offense. She was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
