London Police arrest three for burglary and possession of methamphetamine

 

LONDON KY—On Thursday, Nov. 10th at 3:54 a.m. London Police were notified by Dispatch of a burglary in progress at London Dry Cleaners on South Main Street and arrested three
subjects who also were in possession of methamphetamine.

While watching surveillance, London Dry Cleaners’ owner, Eric Vanderhoof, observed two men breaking into his business’ coin machines and called Dispatch. When Sgt. Jessie Williams, Sgt. Eric Wilkerson, and Ofc. Travis Couch arrived at the scene they located and arrested Kevin S. Mullins, 42, of Gail Avenue in London; Robert L. Asher, 30, of Letcher, Ky.; and Misty L. Vaughn, 24, of Robinson Road in London. Vaughn had driven Mullins and Asher to the business to burglarize the coin machines.

Located in the passenger area of Vaughn’s vehicle was a small metal container containing methamphetamine.

Vaughn was charged with third-degree burglary and first-degree possession of a controlled substance. Mullins and Asher were charged with third-degree burglary, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, and possession of burglary tools. All were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
