London Police serve arrest warrant and find stolen vehicle

LONDON KY—On Tuesday, Sept. 1st at 1:26 p.m. the London Police Department located David L. Anderson, 44, of Tuttle Road in reference to four warrants for his arrest and soon after found a stolen vehicle in his possession.Photo Sep 01, 1 27 37 PM

London Police Detective Sgt. Joe Smith, Sgt. Danny Robinson, and Officer Jordan Hopkins discovered Anderson at Altamont Lane, at a residence he advised that he leases. With Anderson’s consent, London Police searched his property and found inside a garage a 2005 Pontiac vehicle in pieces. The National Crime Information Center (NCIC) revealed that the vehicle was stolen from Knox County, Ky.

Anderson was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property under $10,000, speeding 14 miles per hour over the limit, operating on a suspended or revoked operator’s license, failure to wear a seat belt, operating on a suspended or revoked operator’s license, and contempt of court libel/slander resistance to order. He was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
