London Police arrest two for attempted murder and robbery

 

LONDON KY—On Sunday, Oct. 1, London Police were dispatched to a call regarding a naked male subject walking on KY-192 at 7:18 p.m. Through investigation two were arrested for attempted murder and robbery.

Ofc. Daryl Zanet made contact with the male subject on KY-192, he stated that he was at a residence on Little Laurel Road and was attacked, robbed, and left for dead. The male was left unconscious in a wooded area near Little Laurel Road after being assaulted by two individuals. He was able to crawl through the wooded area, cross two creeks, and a set of railroad tracks. He discarded his clothing due to them being wet in low temperatures and was able to walk to KY-192 where he was met by Ofc. Zanet.

During the investigation, Layton L. McQueen, 34, and Charles L. Adams, 46, of London were arrested and charged with first-degree robbery and attempted murder. Both were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.

Det. Daniel Robinson and Det. Jessie Williams are continuing the investigation.
