London Police Chief promotes two Officers to Sergeant

LONDON KY—The London Police Department (LPD) has named Ofc. Travis Couch and Ofc. Justin Roby as the Department’s newest Sergeants.

Sgt. Couch began his career at the Clay County Sheriff’s Office as a Deputy Sheriff in 2001, attended the Department of Criminal Justice Training’s (DOCJT) Police Academy in 2004, and has been at the LPD for 10 years.

Sgt. Roby began his career in law enforcement at the LPD and attended the DOCJT’s Police Academy in 2011. He is the Alcoholic Beverage Control Administrator, a D.A.R.E. Officer, FATS firearms training simulator instructor, and Stop Stick instructor.

“Both Travis and Justin have proven to be exceptional Officers and will make exceptional supervisors.” said London Police Chief Derek House.
