Crime Stoppers offering $500 reward regarding stolen “Vote Yes for London” signs

LONDON KY—On Tuesday, Jan. 19th at 9:15 a.m. London Police received a call from Dispatch about 12 “Vote Yes for London” signs that were missing from private property. “Vote Yes for London” Chairperson Jennifer Tyler reported to police on Wednesday, Jan. 20th that eight signs have been recovered on Sam Black road on KY 472.

London Laurel County Crime Stoppers are offering a $500 reward on any information that would lead to an arrest.

The “Vote Yes for London” signs were said to have been set in-place on Monday, Jan. 18th and on Tuesday morning they were missing. The “Vote Yes for London” committee is trying to locate any video from where the signs were stolen. The signs were originally placed on throughout the city’s limits. The signs and hardware that were stolen/damaged are valued at $723.50.

Of the eight signs recovered, some were reportedly damaged, and six were re-used and set back in place.
