London Police arrest man in McDonald’s with Meth

InmateImg062016ZZZ88385_06072016211326LONDON KY— The London Police Department were notified by 9-1-1 Dispatch of a man passed out on a table at McDonald’s on South U.S. 25. Through investigation, Joshua D. Mills, 32, of London was arrested.

Upon the arrival of Ofc. Justin Roby, he noticed the subject passed out inside the restaurant. After waking Mills, he had slurred speech and droopy eye lids. He had a bag in his possession.

With consent to search, Ofc. Roby found a black plastic bottle within his bag, containing a clear plastic bag with 0.2 grams of methamphetamine inside. Mills stated that he currently had a drug problem.

Mills was arrested and charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and public intoxication of a controlled substance (excluding alcohol). He was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
